Our Mission
Give Hope to Young Mothers with Unexpected Pregnancies
Young mothers often drop out of school or leave their children with grandparents in the village while they go look for work in Bangkok or tourist areas, never developing meaningful relationships with their children. Our program is designed to give these young mothers the emotional support, parenting skills, and educational opportunities they need to raise their own children.
Provide Foster Care for Children Waiting to be Adopted
In cases where a mother gives her child up for adoption or if an infant is abandoned, we partner with Holt International’s local foundation, the local Thai Christian church, and the Thai government to provide foster care until the child is placed with a permanent family, so they don’t have to enter institutional facilities.
Protect & Restore Victims of Sexual Abuse
Because many of the women and children we serve have been sexually abused, we also run a child advocacy center to provide support, justice, and aftercare to victims and their families. By partnering with the local church, we have the unique opportunity to promote the value of life and share the love of Christ and the truth of the Gospel with people of influence that we partner with regularly.
Our Vision
Empowered Thai mothers living sustainably.
Children raised in healthy families.
Communities transformed by the love of Jesus Christ.
Our Values
Faith
We are a faith-based organization that reflects Jesus Christ by serving people the way He did; with compassion, love, and mercy. We commit to loving and supporting the whole person; physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual, regardless of race, religion, or any other background.
Family
God designed children to thrive in families. Even the best institutional care facility cannot compare to the nurturing children receive in their families of origin. We walk with parents through their challenges to strengthen their families and keep them together when safely possible.
Community
We know our team can’t do everything. We’ll see more life transformation when our work is done in community by working together with the government, local communities, local churches, and strategic partners.
“55% of children in Thailand are not raised by either biological parent.”
